Buying a boat abroad

To register a vessel in the Croatian register, the ownership and technical documents must be translated and certified.

• Purchase agreement for the vessel
• Ownership certificate or title deed
• Bill of sale
• Certificate of deletion from the foreign register
• CE declaration of conformity and technical specifications
• Proof of customs duty and VAT payment
• Ship's logbook or navigation permit
• Photos and identification data (HIN, engine number)
