Buying a vehicle abroad

To register a vehicle bought abroad you need translated purchase agreement, registration document and proof of ownership.

• Vehicle registration document (Fahrzeugschein)
• Proof of ownership (Fahrzeugbrief)
• Valid roadworthiness test (TÜV, HU)
• Invoice or proof of payment
• Declaration of transfer of ownership
• Copy of the seller's ID document
